Shabu-shabu chez Sauce
I should probably mention that the nickname for our apartment is The Awesomesauce, which I sometimes shorten to “The ‘Sauce.” We have not yet determined the epicurean nature of the Sauce, only that it is Awesome.

For some inexplicable reason, whenever snow’s coming there’s a mad last-minute rush on milk, eggs and bread at all the grocery stores. It’s so widespread, unexplainable and quirky-funny that Adam of UniversalHub invented the French Toast Alert system for it.
